Winter hiking in the Swiss mountains
Varied winter hiking trails lead through many parts of the ski area and present the beauty of a unique winter landscape. More than 140 km of marked and groomed trails are ideal as a winter hiking area. Among the special highlights are the routes Heidi & Gigi Weg and the Panoramaweg. The former connects Arosa with Lenzerheide and leads winter hikers in about six hours to the Motta Hut all the way to the Urdenfürggli chairlift. The round tour can be shortened by mountain railway rides. The approximately 12 km long panorama trail offers, away from the skiing hustle and bustle, pleasant tranquility and is characterized by easily walkable paths. The tour inspires with a unique nature, wonderful views and rustic mountain huts to stop for a bite to eat. In addition, there are exciting themed hiking trails such as the Eichhörnliweg (Squirrel Trail) and the bear-like Tschuggen Trail - an experience for young and old.
